Three directors watched "Lizard"

Iran Theater-Hossein Kiani, Mohammadreza Honarmand and Gholamreza Ramezani, three theater, television and cinema directors visited the show "lizard" written by Hamid Jebeli and directed by Rahmat Amini.

Hossein Kiani, writer and theater director, Mohammadreza Honarmand, cinema and television director and Gholamreza Ramezani, cinema and television director watched the show "lizard" directed by Rahmat Amini in Chaharsoo Hall.

Hossein Kiani commented on the structure and style of the show: "At first I thought I was watching a melodrama, but the show started as melodrama and little by little became grotesque and absurd. This show reminded me of Eugène Ionesco's shows, especially "How to get rid of it" and the horror that occurs at the end of the show, and this horror also occurs due to the arrival and spread of superhuman beings.

The director of the "Parveen" also made a suggestion about the grotesque approach of the show and added: I think even the critical part of the situation due to the presence of a strange creature could have been shown more prominently and addressed more. The show had the potential to deal with this issue.

Kiani described the new look at Iranian drama admirable: This new look at Iranian and native drama is admirable and can be a new vein for the concept of Iranian theater and drama. It was a warm and thoughtful performance. Well done Hamid Jebeli . I must say that one of the other positive points of the show was its appropriate timing.
