Street Performance selection committee at 2024 FITF

Mehdi Hamedsagaian, the artistic director of the 42nd Fadjr International Theater Festival, appointed the members of the selection committee for the street performance competition section.

                                             

Asghar Khalili, Ali -Asghar Khatibzadeh and Ali -Mohammad Radmanesh, as  the members of the selection committee of the street theater competition (new productions), will select the best works from 197 entries.

 

Asghar Khalili is a writer, director, designer and theater actor who has been a jury member in many provincial, national and international festivals. Ali -Asghar Khatibzadeh is a theater teacher, writer, director and theater actor and one of the experts in puppet and street theater. He has won many awards from national and international festivals during his activities and has been a jury member in several festivals of Iran. Ali- Mohammad Radmanesh is a writer, director and theater and cinema actor who has won many awards from national and international theater and cinema festivals.

Fadjr International Theater Festival is one of the most important theater festivals in Iran, which is held every year on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in February. The festival is often competitive and has a variety of sections, including a stage performance section, an international section, a street performance section and etc.

The organizers of this festival; The Dramatic Arts Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Iranian Dramatic Arts Association, and the International Theater Institute are located in Tehran.

The 42nd Fadjr International Theater Festival will be held on January  and February 2024 .
