Kazem Nazari: Semnan can be the venue for the International Silk Road Festival
Iran Theater-The Director General of Dramatic Arts considered holding the Silk Road regional theater festival in semnan a successful hosting and suggested that an International festival with the participation of artists from the countries along the Silk Road be hold in Semnan.
The third stage of the 28th regional theater festival of the country, titled "Silk Road", was held from January 13- 7 with the participation of Lorestan, Kermanshah, Ilam, Markazi, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Isfahan, Alborz and Fars provinces, in Semnan.
Kazem Nazari pointed to Semnan Province's ability to hold major theatrical events: "In Iran, we lack an art festival called the Silk Road, and Semnan Province has the ability to hold and be a venue for this important event."
Stating that there is a theater festival called the Silk Road in Germany, he added: "I wonder why such an event is not held in Iran, which is one of the important countries on the road."
The director general of Dramatic Arts of Iran pointed out that Semnan has been chosen as the capital of the Silk Road and Iran's representative in the international union of the cities along the Silk Road,: "I hope that one day the Silk Road Theater Festival will be held in Semnan as an international event with the participation of all the countries along on its route."
