We Lost Some Performances Due to Disorganization
"The Children & Juvenile Theater Festival is in the throes of death in Isfahan." a juror of the 16th International Children & Juvenile Theater Festival, Azita Hajiyan, said.
"Some times the authorities of the province mistake organizing for violence. But they should take into consideration the cultural and economic benefits of the festival for people and the city, and they did not let the cultural event go away from Isfahan. "She said to IRAN THEATER.
"The festival lacked organization; as a result we lost foreign stage productions we wanted to see. The time table of the performances provoked lots of objections, because the show times were overlapping." She added.
"Since long ago we have been asking the authorities to give us a chance to talk with the troupes after their performances in order to redress their productions' weak points, but unfortunately it did not come true since yet."
"The artists who performed their works in the festival got bothered more than us. We have consulted some of our problems with the festival's artistic director, Mostafa Rahmandoost, but it is not clear whether he continues to cooperate with the festival or not."
