Accepted Dramas of the 28th Fadjr International Theater Festival's Panorama Section
After evaluation, the list of accepted dramas which had been submitted for the Panorama section of the Fadjr Festival has been announced.
IRAN THEATER – The General Selection Committee will evaluate 17 regional plays and 32 plays from Tehran. Some of the plays are as followes:
A) Regional Plays:
"Subject, Time, Location" written and directed by Saed Abou Abedi, from Mahshahr
"Leap Year of Jesus" by Nader Sai Var, directed by Jacob Sediq Jamali, from Tabriz
"What I wanted to Know About Danton", written and directed by Milad Akbar Nejad, from Shiraz
"The Last Letter" written and directed by Mehrdad Kourosh Niya, from Hashtgerd
"The Secret" by Ali Reza Hanifi, directed by Shahram Khazrayi, from Tabriz
"Tehran, 1390 Solar" written and directed by Salma Salamati, from Karaj
B) Plays From Tehran:
"Antigone" by Sophocles, adapted and directed by Hasan Fathi
"The Story of Stairs" written and directed by Reza Gooran
"Who loves Living Any More?" written by Mohammad Charm Shir, directed by Maryam Kazemi
"I Believe" written and directed by Afrooz Frouzand
"The Eclipse" by Jacob Aqa Khani, directed by Mohammad Hatami
"Amber" written and directed by Simin Amirian
1- In the case of any corrections asked by General Selection Committee which will be declared by secretariat, directors should redress their works.
2- The theater companies should be ready to represent their works as it is scheduled, from Nov 29, in the Theater Office.
3- According to the second article of the general conditions of The Call For Entry, If an actor plays in more than two productions, the director is responsible, and the festival's secretariat will not be in charge.
4- According to the guidelines of this section the works should not be performed formerly in Tehran or other cities, otherwise they will not be considered.
5- The Dramatic Arts Center will decide about the shows' time table, the venues and the subsidies. The works' quality will be obviously a measure to determine the quantity of the economic support.
