Improvisation is the actor's weapon in the Environmental theater

The environmental theater "Uninformed Reporter", written and directed by Mohammad -Hadi Atai, will be performed from February 8  to March 5, in the cafe of Chaharsoo Hall of City Theater Complex.

This play is about a salesman in the cafe and the cafe manager's attempt to get him out of  the cafe environment and the challenges he faces. It’s featuring Mohammad- Hadi Atai and Mehdi Ziaianpour.

Atai explained: "I have the experience of acting in many street and stage works, and the combination of them is always attractive to me."

 

The artist added:” I think  the environmental theater has part of the rules of street theater and stage theater."

 

He continued: "We don't have a specific definition for street theater, and there aren't even many written works about it so that we can know the criteria and characteristics of this kind of performance. We are still weak in defining street theater and street theater. There is no specific definition of street theater, so artists are undecided."

Atai said: "We also see different methods in the environmental theater, sometimes the audience can be considered the only spectator of the work, and in some places, they participate in the process of advancing the story so that they are an inseparable part of the performance."

He continued: "The audience's participation in the performance brings them along with the work, and this is my concern."
