Iran-Bosnia Children Friendship Week to be held

Iran Theater- Bosnia Children Friendship Week is being held in Sarajevo with the puppet show "The Defeat of Crows" and cultural programs.

Bosnian children and teenagers will get familiar with the cultural, historical, and geographical features of the Iranian ethnic groups as well as heroes, heroic and pahlavani customs, and especially Martyr Saeed Toghani.

 

Iran-Bosnia Children Friendship Week is being held with the cooperation of Iran's Office of Cultural Attache during March 4 - 8.

 

. In this event, four cultural centers will host Iranian artists for five days. During the week, Iranian artists will perform works at the Sarajevo Youth and Culture Center, the Persian-Bosnian College, the International Center for Children and Adolescents in Sarajevo, and Tuzla libraries.

 

Bosnian children and teenagers will get familiar with puppet shows, tales of Iranian heroes, Iranian animation, Iranian anthems, and Iranian traditional arts through participation in educational workshops for making Iranian puppets and calligraphy.

 

The puppet show "The Defeat of the Crows" is written and directed by Morteza Asadi- Maram and played by Samira Khanzadi and Marzieh Ebrahimi.

The book "Two Friends" with the theme of the life and morals of martyr Toghani and the culture of Pahlavani and Zorkhane was specially written for children of the two countries by Mohsen Mashreghi and translated into Bosnian and will be introduced and unveiled at this event.
