Rehearsal Rooms Host Fadjr Festival Artists
Directors who want to take part in the Experimental or Panorama sections of the Fadjr Festival, such as previous years, can apply for rehearsal rooms at the Theater Office.
IRAN THEATER – "Some directors have not applied for rehearsal room yet. However they complain of lacking time." Curator of the Experimental and Panorama sections of the festival, Mohammad Heydari, said. "In comparison by the former years the subsidy of the entered theater companies has been raised up and troupes receive fist payment before the festival and they will be given the rest immediately after the performance."
"20 dramas have been selected for the Experimental section and 49 dramas for Panorama section. As always, the Major Selection Committee selects dramas 2 or 3 times more than the real capacity of the sections, and then through revision step the committee will select some of them in regard of their quality."
"This year the secretariat of the festival has been working since May and decision-makings were shared by all of the participants."
"More than 2000 artists throughout the country have taken part in this event, therefore renunciation or absence of some directors is not a big deal." He said at the end.
