Reza Babak: The Iranian theater can reach to the peak days by The National Theater Foundation

Iran Theater-An Iranian theater, television and cinema artist, Reza Babak, , says that the establishment of the National Theater Foundation can re-bloom and reach to its peak period and revive the type of Iranian theater that has suffered from stereotypes and clichés for some time.

Reza Babak, a popular Iranian theater, television and cinema artist, started his career in theater in the 70s. This artist is one of the most popular and lovable artistic figures whose brilliant performances in plays and TV series have been remembered by several generations and audiences.

Reza Babak told Iran Theater about the necessity of establishing the National Theater Foundation: "Anything that happens in this land in the field of culture, art and love will work."

 

He continued: "We can never imagine this country and even other countries without art. As peace, love and goodness can save the world; Art is also a savior in this regard. All arts are great, especially theater and cinema, which include all arts and play a great role in human development. "Fortunately, brave and talented young people like Afshin Hashemi have done effective work in ritual and traditional shows, and good events are taking place in this field, but ritual-traditional shows, or in other words, our Iranian show, have been slack for a long time, which I hope will The National Theater Foundation will free it from stereotypes and clichés and return it to its peak days."

Babak, who has worked in the field of children's and youth theater for many years, said: "As a person who worked in the field of children and youth, after I’ve watched some works, I sometimes think that 50 years ago, there were plays on the stage that are still different from many of the works that we watch now and  They were more advanced.  Of course, there are artists who take effective steps and stage good and valuable shows."."
