Shokrkhoda Goodarzi to direct “Bijan and Manijeh”
Iran Theater- The musical show "Bijan and Manijeh" directed by Shokrkhoda Goodarzi will be staged in Shahrazad Theater Complex.
After the shows "Farzand Yek Khonyagarm", "Rah Mehr Raz Sepehr" and " Suhrawardī ", he is going to stage the show "Bijan and Manijeh".
Bijan and Manijeh is a love story in Ferdowsi's Shahnameh. Bijan was the son of Giv, a famous Iranian knight during the reign of Kay Khosrow, the Shah of Iran, and Banu Goshasp, the heroine daughter of Rostam. Bijan falls in love with Manijeh, the daughter of Afrasiab, the king of Turan and the greatest enemy of Iran.
The musical show "Bijan and Manijeh" is ready to be performed after 9 months of rehearsals.
Shokrkhoda Goodarzi is one of the stage directors and writers, who during the past years has staged many works with a special focus on the works of Ferdowsi and famous Iranian cultural figures in different theaters, and has also participated in various festivals as a participant or a jury member.The musical show "Bijan and Manijeh" written and directed by Shokrkhoda Goodarzi will be staged in Shahrazad theater Complex in April.
