Shahrzad Theater Complex to home staged-reading performance of Neil Simon ‘s “Laughter on the 23rd floor”
Iran Theater- "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" will be staged on April 20 at Shahrazad Theater Complex.
Laughter on the 23rd Floor is a 1993 play by Neil Simon. It focuses on the star and writers of a TV comedy-variety show in the 1950s, inspired by Simon's own early career experience as a junior writer (along with his brother Danny) for Your Show of Shows and Caesar's Hour.
Directed by Sasan piery, the stage reading of "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" opens on April 20 at Hall No.3 of Shahrzad Theater Complex.
It’s featuring Ainaz Fallah, Saba Sa’adat Hashemi, Younes Hosseini, Mahsa khani, Parva Tavakoli, Sooror Rakhshani, Sasan Piri, Sepideh Saket oF, Amirreza Gholinejad and Reza Moghadami.
Sasan Piery released a statement : "we try to make it in a more humorous atmosphere (of course ,we are faithful to author's bitter humor) and the audience will laugh for an hour and forget all of their problems, It’s a short but memorable laughing time in 75 minutes.”
