Here is a shining light

Iran Theater- More than 20 shows are being performed in the theaters of the cities. Shows that have a variety of topics and are welcomed by the audience

When theater performance in the capital of Iran has become more prosperous these days, plays are staged in the cities with the efforts of theater activists and attract eager audiences to halls.

Undoubtedly, the number of shows that are currently being performed in theaters across the country; It is more than this that we deal with them, because we only have access to the works whose news and information have been uploaded on the provincial portal of Iran Theater website or ticket sales sites.

Of course, the number of these shows is not small and all

this shows that theater is thriving in the provinces.

Two shows are staged every night in Rasht, Kerman and Hamedan city, and three shows are performed in Isfahan. The number of performances depends on the number of halls.

Artists in the cities stage most of the plays they write, but there are  shows which adapted from books like  "I am Malala" written by Malala Yousafzai and Christina Lamb and the play "Mother" written by Florian Zeller.

The shows are mostly about social and family issues. However, there is a lot of thematic diversity among the them, from shows about Hasnia, the student of Prophet Musa ibn Ja'far al-Kazim, to a little girl who thinks about her soldier  father, the story of Sheikh Sanan,  the story of mothers and fathers who protect their children, the show about the city's last prisoner, Maradona, two brothers who are thinking of inventing an airplane, and a female boxer struggling with her life's problems.
