Shahrzad Theater Complex to Host the show Invitation to a Behanding

The show "Invitation to a Behanding" written and directed by Ila Tehrani and produced by Pouyan Esfandiari will be open on July 25,2024 at 21:30 in Hall No. 1 of Shahrazad Theater Complex. It’s featuring Alireza Jalali -Tabar, Mohammad Naderi, Vida Javan and Mohammad Hadi- Atai .

It is the story of a man who has been searching for his missing hand for 27 years. A couple claims to have his missing hand and are trying to sell the hand to its owner. This deal takes place in a hotel that has a strange employee.

 It’s based on a black Comedy play by British-Irish playwright Martin McDonagh. A Behanding in Spokane premiered at the Schoenfeld Theatre on Broadway in 2010. Set in the fictional town of Tarlington, Ohio, it is McDonagh's first play to be set in the United States. Parisa Javanfar translated it to Farsi.

With Mohammad Naderi  as  Advisor to the director and Poyan Esfandiari as producer Tehran’s "Invitation to a Behanding " also has costume design by Sanaz Jalali, production design by Mehrsn Zaghari, make up design by Rasool Nemati, light design by Majid Toroghi and photograph by Fariba Rashidi.
