Expanding cooperation of Dramatic arts in ECO countries

This joint collaboration meeting was held with the General Department of Dramatic Arts and ECO Cultural Institute at ECO Institute.

 

Hamid Nili (Director General of Dramatic Arts), Saad Khan (Director of ECO Cultural Institute), Tohid Masoumi (Senior Advisor of General Department of Dramatic Arts) and Mozhgan Vakili (International relation department of Dramatic art center of Iran) were present in this meeting.

Hamid Nili emphasized on bilateral cooperation by inviting theater troupes from ECO member countries to Fadjr, Children and Young Adult, Puppet and Street International Theater Festivals.

                                                                               

He also offered co-productions with drama groups of ECO member countries and bilateral cooperation in the field of sending drama groups of the Islamic Republic of Iran to international Theater festivals of ECO member countries.

Saad Khan made a favorable promise about the cooperation and introduction of professional theater groups from the ECO countries, especially in the 43rd Fadjr International Theater Festival. He has been in Iran for the past year, and his efforts are to expand the cultural-artistic activities of this institution in all artistic fields, including drama, music and visual arts.

In order to invite theater groups and bilateral cooperation, a meeting between Hamid Nili and Mehrdad Kiai, the coordinator of Shanghai cooperation organization, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, July 31.
