Ebrahim Amini and Ali Mohammad Hesamfar on the show “Terror”
Iran Theater- The director and producer of the show "Terror” considered it to be a live and dynamic show that deals with an event without condemning it with the language of art.
The play "Terror" written by Ferdinand von Schirach, directed by Ebrahim Amini and produced by Ali Mohammad Hesamfar is on stage in the hall of Nazerzadeh Kermani ,Iranshahr Theater Complex.
Ferdinand Benedikt von Schirach is a German lawyer and writer. He published the play Terror in 2015.
Ebrahim Amini said about his return to the theater after many years: "I always had the concern of returning to the theater, even during the years when I was away from the stage due to my activities in the cinema, and the production of the play "Terror" is a thought to revive my theatrical activities with Ali Hesamfar.”
He continued: "Initially, we intended 'Terror' to be a television play for live streams. A drama that narrates a court story weekly and the ending is updated based on the opinion of the audience; Exactly what we are witnessing in the theatrical version, but in the end we decided to perform this work on the stage with all the sensibilities."
The director of the "Terror" pointed to the interactive nature of play: "As an audience, I prefer works based on interaction with the audience, because I’ve been an audience of the theater more than I have worked in the theater; the passion has always been with me. When I chose the play "Terror", I paid attention to this partnership. The interaction with the audience is exciting, because it changes every night, and small parts affect the whole process of the performance. Theater is a living and attractive medium, and collaborative theaters are purely alive and more attractive."
He said about the casting: "The casting was done based on our previous knowledge and previous collaborations. We had the least amount of trouble in the company of this group and we reached an agreement very soon."
Ali Mohammad Hesamfar, the producer of this show, also said: "Ebrahim and I have been in the same wavelength since the beginning of our work. Certainly, it is especially important in joint cooperation what play, director and group are supposed to cooperate.”
