The funeral ceremony of Pari Saberi was held

She was an artist whose works had an Iranian identity

Iran Theater-The funeral ceremony of Pari Saberi was held in open area of Vahdat Hall with the presence of artists and colleagues of this late artist.

 

Nima Karami, who was the presenter of the program, said at the beginning of the ceremony: " great works of Pari Saberi were performed here. Perhaps we have fewer artists who are particularly committed to Iranian literature and have staged works as Pari Saberi."

Iraj Rad, the head of the board of directors of theater Forum, said that Pari Saberi is one of the prominent artists who was close and collaborated with writers and veterans from her youth and said: "In addition to studying in the experimental field, Pari Saberi is active in all fields of performing arts. She was present in two great and valuable films in the history of Iranian cinema, and translated and staged valuable works by writers from other countries. And she also performed works by those who are Iranian celebrities and the world knows Iran by their names.”

Mohammad Hatami, a film, theater and television actor and one of Pari Saberi's students, also said during the ceremony: "I felt it was my duty to be here on behalf of myself and all the people who have been worked with Pari Saberi for many years."

He continued: "Woman played a big role in her works. The woman was a sign of life and of reaching from unity to multiplicity. She announced the presence of life with women. She was a great female artist and lived as a woman until the last moment of her life."
