Stage Actors Capable of Long Roles
"Stage actors have great ability to appear in cinema and screen." the director of the TV series called "The Safe", Maziar Miri said.
"Since theater actors are capable of reciting long dialogs and playing extended scenes, their presence in a TV show would be delightful for audiences." He said in a talk with IRAN THEATER.
"Presence of stage actors gave me the chance to experience and test different kinds of acting." He added.
"I am extremely interested in producing a stage production." He explained about his theatrical activity. "Since the time in which Hussein Pakdel was at the helm of City Theater I longed to realize it but it did not come true so far. I may produce a stage project in the future. However experiencing stage is difficult, while it is in the hand of great figures."
Having cinema productions in his resume such as "law Book", "Slowly", "Unfinished Piece", Miri has compiled the cast by experienced stage actors like Siamak Safari, Bahare Rahnama, Afshin Hashemi, Azade Samadi, Payam Dehkordi, Elham Pave Nejad, Farhad Aslani, Reza Babak and so forth.
"The Safe" is the story of a safe full of jewel followed by many to be robbed. The TV series is intended to be broadcast from Nov 21 on the third channel at 20:45.
