Hamid Nili: The circumstances of the past few days have increased the importance of International Resistance Theater Festival

They met with Mohammad Habibi, the CEO of the Revolutionary and Holy Defense Theater Association, Mohammad Kazemtabar, the artistic director of the 19th International Resistance Theater Festival, and members of the festival's executive staff.

 

Kazem Tabar gave a report on the presence of numerous theater groups in the "stage", "street", "playwriting" and "research" sections:

 Paying attention to the important role of the Axis of resistance in the fight against the crimes of the Zionist regime has been one of the important thing of the call for this edition of the festival. At the same time, considering the importance conditions of the past days that happened for the axis of resistance after the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary-general of Hezbollah in Lebanon, martyr Nilfroushan and other martyrs, We have decided to allocate a special prize for this issue, and we take measures for the educational workshops of the festival, so that after holding these activities, we will achieve valuable productions in this field. Of course, in different sections of the festival, important works have been sent to the festival secretariat about topics such as the axis of resistance, martyrs of Gaza, martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani, martyr Raisi, martyr Amir Abdullahian.”

Hamid Nili, the former CEO of Revolutionary and Holy Defense Theater Association, said: "In the field of resistance theater, we have two important festivals, the "International Resistance Theater Festival" organized by the Ravayat Fath Institute and the "Basij Theater Festival" with the support of the Basij Resistance Force, each them have their own values ​​and can host drama groups and audiences interested in the field of resistance. Therefore, it is necessary to make plans, and to select works that distinguish these two national events from each other."

 

Hamid Nili stated: "I believe that paying attention to the important and influential elements and components of resistance literature in both the "national" and "international" areas, relying on the orders of the Supreme Leader, is one of the most important things that can be paid attention to by the resistance theater festival officials. These days, the axis of resistance are in a very sensitive, important situation.  Therefore, it seems that the attention of the festival staff to the topics they have considered for this edition should be more effective and bolder in the international field. A policy that has definitely brought the activity of the festival secretaries into special and different conditions, which can include important points."

 

Presided by Mohammad Kazemtabar, The 19th International Resistance Theater Festival will be held in Autumn and Winter by Revolutionary and Holy Defense Theater Association and Ravayat Fath Institute in Tehran and various cities of the country.
