Theatrical Figures Return to Stage
The presence of actors and stage directors has warmed up venues. Theatrical names that have been starring in cinema or TV during recent years, return to stage to activate the box offices.
Mourning for Siyavash
Having experienced stage for the last time in "Farewell Imperator" directed by Ali Pouyan in 2006, this year Marjane Golchin stars in "Mourning for Siyavash" directed by Siyavash Tahmoureth.
Dance of Earth
After a long absence, Atefe Razavi is going to play in "Death of Earth", meanwhile Hussein Pakdel, the director, has also return to theater after 3 years.
Shahrzad
The renowned screen actor, Baran Kosari, appeared in "Dog-Silence" by Arvand Dasht Aray in May. Also she accompanied Atila Pesiani and Hasan Majouni in "Quartet" by Amir Reza Kouhestani.
In the new year, she intends to star in a stage production called "Shahrzad" by Ali Asqar Dashti which will premiere in the 28th Fadjr International Theater Festival.
Hamlet, Little Danish Princes
Having appeared in Zizi Goulo series, Leyli Rashidi is rehearsing "Hamlet Little Danish Princes" by Reza Babak, which is scheduled to hit the stage early December at Iranshahr venue. Hasan Dashekar, who has been directing children theater productions, also joins her in this play.
We hope that return of these theater artists encourages the others who were far from stage to relaunch their theatrical activity.
