The Story of Abdoli and Osta was formed to update Siyahbazi

Javad Esnafi, the veteran actor, writer and director of Iranian theater, is performing  these days in the show "Stay, Read, Laugh" directed by Somayeh Mehri at Sangelaj Theater Complex.

                        

Referring to the theme of the show , He said: "This show indirectly refers to the issues related to the Siyahbazi and the problems that we  as Siyahbazi performers had in order to being active in this profession."

 

He explained the process of creating the "Abdoli and Osta": "In the beginning, some people considered our work to be racially discriminatory, So we tried to produce the TV series "Abdoli and Osta" by updating  Siyahbazi. In fact, in this series, we had Siyahbazi with  Abdoli's character but without blackening his face, but the content was the conflict between black and white, good and evil, and basically the same content as usual in this type of show.”

 

This artist declared: we dealt with the conflict between good and evil and the personal problems we had to continue Siyahbazi art and also the story of  the late  Saadi Afshar who ate the Kohl and damage his larynx due to the enmity of some people in the show.”
