Theater talents are discovered from provincial festivals
Iran Theater- Kheyrollah Taghyanipour, the artistic director of the 43rd Fadjr Theater Festival, considered a provincial festival as a place to see the efforts and art of young people.
On the eve of holding provincial festivals, he said about the importance of the presence of artists in this event.
He said: "Many of the artists who have been recognized at the Fadjr International Theater Festival; they have been artists who have introduced from the provincial theater festival and have shined. So the provincial theater festival is the first platform and place to show the ability, creativity and potential of stage artists and a way for them to enter the Fadjr theater festival.”
The artistic director of FITF went on to say: "As a large number of our theater veterans were introduced to the theater community initially through their activities in the provincial theaters, most of the young artists and talents are also known from the provincial festivals, and it seems that this thing has become an unwritten rule that we always have a phenomenon from the provinces in different sections of acting, directing, etc."
Kheyrollah Taghyanipour emphasized: "The festival is a place to present different tastes, ideas and opinions, and artists and audiences are looking for new discoveries. In my opinion, these new discoveries are what will encourage many people to attend the festival."
