The Children and Young Adult Theater Festival: press conference of artistic director
Iran Theater- The press conference of the Hamedan Children and Young Adult Theater Festival was held with the presence of the director of the General Department of Performing Arts, the director general of culture and guidance of Hamedan province, the mayor, the high adviser of the director general of Dramatic arts, the executive vice president of the general department of Dramatic Arts and the festival artistic director at Honar Hall.
This ceremony began with the memory of the martyrdom of Iranian youth in the aggression of the Zionist regime.
Referring to the presence of student journalists at the festival, Hamid Nili said: "This should be followed up by the festival's artistic director and director of public relations, and regarding the relationship between the education institution and the general administration of dramatic arts, we are eager to announce that we are fully prepared to coordinate education and theater that are useful even in teaching difficult courses.”
Seyed Masoud Hosseini, the mayor of Hamedan province, also said: "We know Hamedan by its symbols; Scientific symbols such as Ibn Sina or cultural symbols such as Mirzadeh Eshghi, etc., we host artists in a historical city that has the necessary dynamism, a city that is proven to be the foundation of history and civilization with its 3000-year-old history. Hamadan is the center of science, religion, jihad, art and the center of all world values. In holding this festival by performing programs for children and teenagers, this culture is manifested in our children and teenagers from the ground up, we tried to present everything that has made us in the field of dramatic arts, which has its own special place and value."
Amir Mashhadi -Abbas, the artistic director of the children and young adult theater festival, said in a short speech: "Organizing the festival is a very difficult task, especially in terms of coordinating and attracting funds from various institutions and organizations for the festival directors. We hope that after the end of the festival, with the good energy created by children and teenagers, the fatigue of holding the festival will end."
He added: "According to the slogan of the festival "Theater and dialogue without borders", we tried to make our policy based on this slogan."
"Iranian children's and youth theater cannot be stopped considering that the conditions for holding the festival in Hamedan city were not ready in last year and you can consider the festival as a flow and cannot be stopped."
The 29th edition of Iran’s International Theater Festival for Children and Young Adults is scheduled to be held from November 1 to 7.
