The 29th Hamedan International Theater Festival for Children & Young Adults Opens With Veteran artists and theater officials

The opening ceremony was attended by prominent children's and young adult theater artists such as Reza Babak, Alireza Khamseh, Majid Ghanad, Amin Zendegani, Maryam Motafar, ... and participating troupes from the Theater of Nations section.

 

The host of the opening ceremony was "Uncle Hamid" was a popular children's and teen drama programs in Hamedan province.

At the ceremony, the children of martyr Milad Heydari and martyr Mohammad Reza Alvani were honored in the presence of Hamadan provincial administrators and the festival artistic director.

 

Masoud Vizhe, Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hamadan Province, condemned the Zionist regime's crimes in this ceremony, which have led to the unjust martyrdom of children in Gaza in recent months: "The children of Gaza and Lebanon wish for peace to return to their country. We must honor the memory of the martyrs and the security of the country, and we hope that Iranian children will always be happy because of the martyrs who were martyred for the peace of the Iranian people."

 

Amir Mashhadi -Abbas, the artistic director of festival, said: "I thank the good people of Hamedan, who are the best spectators in the world."

Then Ali Foroutan and Hamid Goli performed a special show for the audience.

A special musical program was performed by the Bamani Drama Music Group, led by Abd Atashani as wellas fireworks, and some special musical and dramatic programs at the opening ceremony of the 29th International Children and Young Adult Theater Festival.

The festival will award a 500 USD prize for the best creative director and a 500 USD prize for the best acting or creative puppeteer to honor the production of creative works for children and teenagers in the International Section.

The 29th edition of Iran’s International Theater Festival for Children and Young Adults is scheduled to be held from November 1 to 7.
