The 29th Hamedan International Theater Festival for Children & Young Adults crowns the winners

Iran Theater- The 29th Hamedan International Theater Festival held a celebratory closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony of the 29th Hamedan Children and Young Adults Theater Festival was held on Thursday morning, October 7th, with the presence of directors and artists and the people of Hamedan city.

 

Amir Mashhadi -Abbas, artistic director of the 29th festival, stated that creating hope is the most important thing that turns children into successful adults: "In the second step of the revolution, hope and creating hope were also mentioned, and it is one of the most important topics of this festival."

 

He said at the closing ceremony that theater groups with minimal support pay attention to children: " We hope that the officials will also encourage artists by supporting the art of theater. "

 

Hossein Safi, a veteran artist in the Hamedan theater, was honored for his many years contribution to theater of at the closing ceremony, where he was honored by Hamid Molanori -Shamsi, Governor of Hamedan, Nadereh Rezaei, Deputy Minister of Culture for Artistic Affairs, Hamid Nili, Director General of Dramatic Arts Center, Seyyed Masoud Hosseini, Mayor of Hamedan, Hamid Reza Haj Babaei, Representative of the People of Hamedan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Amir Mashhadi Abbas.

The Governor of Hamedan stated that we are happy here today, but the families and children of Lebanon and Gaza are in sorrow, and I hope that one day they will be happy too,: "Let's convey the message of peace and friendship to the world through cultural and artistic diplomacy."

 

Hamid Nili, Director General of the Dramatic Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, also expressed his gratitude to those involved in this year's festival in a short speech.

 

After his speech, it was time to present the awards for the Children's Theater Competition. Awards were then presented to the winners of various categories.

The play "We Are Happy," directed by Rouhollah Sanaei from Tehran, was introduced to the FITF's secretariat as the Hamedan Theater Festival's selected play for final consideration to compete in the 43rd Fadjr International Theater Festival.
