Iran Theater- The actress and writer of the play "Beloved", Noushin Tabrizi, says that I am a storyteller and when I write, I like to tell something to my audience because I think people like to see their own story on stage.

The play "Beloved" written by Noushin Tabrizi and directed by Zhaleh Sameti will be staged for the second time after 6 years from November 17 in Hall No. 1 of the Homa Mansion.

 

Noushin Tabrizi, the writer and actor of the play, said: "In late 2017, my best friend, Zhaleh Sameti and I decided to collaborate on a play .We talked about various ideas, such as the harm that women may cause each other, and as a result, the play "Beloved " was written."

 

 

She continued: "I had written the role of Leila with Sameti in mind, and after the rehearsals began, she suggested that I play the role of Nasrin. Nasrin is an effective character in the story. Because she has experienced trauma, tries to harm others."

The artist declared that in the first round of the performance, they had the audience that surprisingly identified with the story: "I am a storyteller and I love listening to stories, and I think people like to hear stories. That's why when I write as a writer, I like to tell something to my audience, because I think people like to see their own story on stage."

Tabrizi stated: "Fortunately, over 60 percent of the people who watch my works have identified with them and liked shows. The first round of the performance of the play was well-received by the audience."

 

Referring to playing the role of "Nasrin", he said: "Since the character of Nasrin was created by me, I had known it better than anyone else and I think I came very close to what I had in mind in my performance. Of course, every piece of art and every actor can be criticized, but I tried to make the best use of the experience of creating the character as a writer and performing it on stage."

The artist stated: "It has become very difficult to work in theater these days, however, I hope that conditions will be provided and I will be able to direct one of my plays as a writer."
