"The Wind Will Carry Us" premiered in Austria

The play “The Wind Will Carry Us” is a collaboration between the Theateron and Murart artistic groups. It is a new experience by Javad Namaki that combines theater, music, and poetry and was staged in two performances in Vienna and Murau, Austria.

 

This work attempts to create a new and multifaceted experience for the audience by combining contemporary Iranian and German literature, where they simultaneously experience poetry, music, and drama in an interactive space.

                                                                  

Mehran Imambakhsh and Manuela Kurt play roles in the play.

Nasim Mirjafari composes music and Aria Akhundzadeh is set and lighting design; Masoumeh Mehrpoya works as a graphic designer.

The play "The Wind Will Take Us" premiered in Murau city on November 16 at 7:00 p.m. local time; it will also premiere in Vienna, Austria, on November 22 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
