Winners of the First Theater Research Award of the Year

Iran Theater-The winners of the first Iranian Theater Research Award of the Year were introduced during a ceremony.
The closing ceremony of the first Iranian Theater Research Award of the Year was held at the Rudaki Hall on Saturday ,December 13, 2024 at the same time as the beginning of Research Week.
The program was hosted by Kourosh Soleimani, an actor and theater director. The event was sponsored by the Iranian Dramatic Arts Center.
Nadereh Rezaei, Deputy Minister of Arts Affairs at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, stated at the ceremony: "Dedicating a week to research indicates the importance of this field, but there no day in this week dedicated to culture and art, While naming should be based on the necessity and conditions of the day.”
She pointed to concerns arising from social science research findings: "when economic hardships are the primary concern of society in today, creating hope in people depends on the field of culture and art. Artists are at the forefront of reference groups. Therefore, if we are looking for a solution to overcome the situation, it is artists who can be influential."
Emphasizing that identifying problems is more important than finding the right answer, the Deputy Minister of Arts Affairs said: "If the award ceremony is to continue in the coming years, you researchers should tell us what needs to be done to overcome the current situation in the country."
Emad Shatryan, director of Bidgol Publishing, was honored. Then, Reza Soroor, a theater translator, was honored in the translation section with the presence of Mohammad -Reza Khaki.
Ardeshir Salehpour honored Farhad Nazerzadeh Kermani for his contribution in the field of theater research.
Farhad Nazerzadeh Kermani said on stage: "Unfortunately, I was born in an era when there are no more good playwrights in the world. Playwrights in the world have autism and mostly play tricks and change their form.”
Morteza Ghaffari (as the head author) with Hamidreza Shaeiri and Pouya Raisi received the award in the scientific articles section.
In the Master's Thesis section, the statuette and cash prize went to Ehsan Ajorloo.
Erfan Nazer won the doctoral dissertation category. And In the Research Books section, Mohammad Hossein Naserbakht was honored for his book "An Investigation into Iranian Farce; The First Half of the 14th Century Solar" published by "University of Art Press".
