The 20th Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Theater Festival opens in Ab-o Atash Park

The opening ceremony of the 20th Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Theater Festival will be held outdoors and publicly this year.

                         

The opening ceremony will begin on Monday, December 16 at 3:00 PM and will continue until 8:00 PM.

 

Amir Soltan -Ahmadi, artistic director of festival, explained about the opening ceremony: "The opening of the festival will include educational workshops for different ages, music, environmental performances with giant puppets, a marquee, a children's hangout, and more."

Soltan -Ahmadi stated: "We will start the festival with a passionate and exciting ceremony, and we hope that this passion and excitement will be with us until the end of the festival. We would like the audience and spectators of the shows to feel this excitement as well."

This year's festival slogan is "The White Dream of Friendship."
The 20th Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival is scheduled to be held in Tehran from December 16, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
