The Secretariat of Tehran Mobarak Puppet Festival honored Russian artists

Iran Theater- Artists and officials - Atabak Naderi, Afshin Hashemi, and Amir Soltan-Ahmadi - honored the Russian theater troupe on the second day of the 20th Tehran-Mobarak International Puppet Festival.
The play "The Snail and the Whale," written by Julia Donaldson and directed by Natalia Stepanek from Russia, was staged in twice on the second day of the festival at the Qashghai Hall of Tehran’s City Theater Complex, to a warm reception from the audience.
This year’s edition of the festival includes outdoor shows, international performances, a playwriting competition, a 100-second short film category for virtual platforms, and exhibitions showcasing technical innovations in puppetry.
The festival hosts specialized panels, workshops, and discussions to provide participants with further insights into the art of puppetry as well.
The curtain comes down on the 20th Tehran-Mobarak International Puppet Festival on January 2, 2025.
