The first day of the 43rd FITF will be held in memory of Atila Pesyani
Iran Theater-The first day of the 43rd Fadjr International Theater Festival was named after Atila Pesyani, the late theater actor and director.
This cultural-artistic event begins its work in Tehran with 15 stage and street performances includes seven stage performances and eight street shows.
This is the full lineup for the stage shows on first day: Ghotbeddin Sadeghi with Abji Mozaffar's travelogue, "Now Man" written and directed by Hamidreza Naeimi, "Your Excellency's High Intention" directed by Mohammad -Hassan Olamaei, Diphenhydramine " written and directed by Alireza Marouf, "The Name of All the Crucified is Jesus" written by Ayoub Aghakhani and directed by Vahid Nafar, "Hedwig" written and directed by Nader Borhani Marand and "Bijen" directed by Mehrdad Alipour.
And this the full lineup for street shows on day one: "Once Upon a Time in America" directed by Fereshteh Chapalaghi, "Red Scarf" directed by Mohammad -Hadi Ataei, "Plastic" directed by Behnam Kaveh, "4 Months and 10 Days" directed by Fereshteh Mostafapour, "With the Power of Your Breath" directed by Aidineh Rahimnejad, "Muladhara" directed by Ali Sanamiri, "Blue Eyes" directed by Hossein Naderi and "Ball by Ball" directed by Mohammad Radmehr.
The "Actor's Body Expression" workshop by Hamed Nasrabadian, will be held Wednesday, February 22, at City Theater Complex's Karghah Namayesh .
Three shows of "Plus Fadjr" will run on the first day as well ;"English" written by Sanaz Toosi and co-directed by Omid Omidi and Faraz Gholami, "Three Plays by Mohammad Musavat" written by Mohammad Musavat and directed by Sajad Tabesh, " Deprivation" written by Afsaneh Bakhshifard and directed by Mohammad Sadegh- Siadat.
The 43rd Fadjr International Theater Festival runs January 22 -February 1, 2025.
