After watching the play "Border," Seyyed Abbas Salehi said: "Unity is based on dialogue, and theater is the art of dialogue. A significant opportunity for dialogue is the space of performing arts and theater."

He noted: "Artists on stage and the audience participate in a dialogue and are in the process. Dialogues are sometimes expressed, and internal and implicit dialogues occur in the minds of theater audiences, which are connected to the dialogues on stage."

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance emphasized: "National unity is based on national dialogue. A foundation for national dialogue can be in the performing arts, and theater can greatly contribute to the path of national reconciliation."
He went on to say: "The art of theater creates many opportunities for the educational field; it builds student self-confidence and creates opportunities for dialogue. We had better connections between the educational system and theater in the past, and we found some gaps. If we are criticizing the educational system today, theater can help in various ways."

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said: “Student shows are a good opportunity for the education system, and we can see what happens to students when they are active in this field. We at the Ministry of Culture are trying to make this path smoother, and we hope that our Colleagues in the education system will respond to our invitation.”

He added: “The government is trying with the available resources, but we need to see how we can involve people who are interested in theater nostalgia in this art and bring back those who have many memories of theaters to the halls. The government is trying to help. We will also be celebrating the 60th anniversary of Sangelaj Theater Complex next year, and we will support this event as well.”

The 43rd Fadjr International Theater Festival is underway until February 1, 2025.
