Vahdat Hall to Host the show "Frederick" by Hamidreza Naeimi

Iran Theater- Hamidreza Naeimi plans to stage the play "Frederick" on May 5th at Vahdat Hall.
Hamidreza Naimi had directed Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt’s Frederick in 2023 and the show was staged at the City Theater complex..
He said about the performance of this play: "The play "Frederick" was staged in the main hall of the City Theater in 2023, and despite the exceptional reception from the audience and the good reviews, I was personally not satisfied with the quality of the work. So, I decided to produce this play at another time, with a different approach. Now that after 6 years, with the approval of the authorities, I am going to perform it in Vahdat Hall, I proposed this attractive and spectacular work."
Naimi emphasized: "The show is a new production, not a reproduction. Almost all of the designers and the cast have changed, and an effort has been made to include academic figures and well-known and popular figures from theater and cinema in this performance."
Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt is a Franco-Belgian playwright, short story writer and novelist, as well as a film director. His plays have been staged in over fifty countries all over the world.
Frederick of the Crime Boulevard is about the Theatre – about intrigues between actors, about stupid playwright and greedy manager, about happiness and curse of the acting and, of course, about love. Frederick Lemaitre gave his life to the theatre, sacrificing personal happiness. The idol of the public, he dies abandoned and indigent. The theatre had long ago replaced everything else in his life.
