Mehdi Zandyeh on the phenomenon of migration in history and religions

Co-written and directed by Mehdi Zandiyeh and Aiden Tambrchi, The show has begun its third round of performances in early March in Hall 2 of the Labkhand Theater Complex, Iran Theater reported .

Regarding immigration, which is addressed in this play, Mehdi Zandiyeh said: "I think that the topic of immigration is a main concern of society, because in any country, if social and economic conditions deteriorate too much, the people think about immigration. Iran is no exception to this rule, especially in the past two decades. I believe that  not thinking about the issue of immigration is a bit illogical, and this is not related to social class. Although social classes in Iran today have no meaning as they did in the past.

 

Stating that personal experiences have definitely key role in any play, he said: "About my experience in dealing with the issue of immigration, I can say that I have lost a large number of my family, friends, and acquaintances over the years. This was accompanied by gaining awareness of all the stages, methods, and evidence available for immigration. Although the topic has always been important to me because I think that apart from the current situation, this issue has always been central in history and religious books everywhere. This breadth in dealing with immigration from time immemorial to the present day has been a guide for us and reveals its importance. Perhaps it can be strongly emphasized that this plot has opened its way to more colorful plots in dramatic literature than ever before."
