Kamand Amir Soleimani: Reality is not always what is shown

Kamand Amir Soleimani plays the role of Charlotte in "The Kitchen and Apartment" written by Agnès Jaoui and translated by Negar Youneszadeh, which is on stage at the Ostad Nazerzadeh Kermani Hall of the Iranshahr Theater from April 11,2025.

 

She said about Charlotte: She is a seemingly very successful and happy woman who is spending the night with her friends, but we see new aspects of her life. A life that others may somehow regret, but the reality is that it is not what it shows.

 

 

In response to the fact that she has been working less in recent years, the veteran actress said: "I don't think I'm working too hard; I have to take care of my personal life and I'm not going to be busy with work all the time. That's why in recent years I've preferred to accept jobs that take up less of my time. I don't think that after 45 years of work, I need to move from one project to another."

 

The actress of the play "The Kitchen and Apartment" stated the characteristics she considers when she wants to choose a role: "There are definitely two parts to acting and playing a role; first, in terms of knowledge, you must be able to analyze the character correctly, connect with the play, and act appropriately and in harmony with the play. The other part refers to personal issues such as expression and body, which is  the most important thing on stage. The sum of these helps the actor to be able to present a successful work for the role he plays on stage."
