Dynamic roles are preferred: A Q & A with Alireza Naseh, the stage actor of king Lear

Iran Theater- These nights the new version of King Lear is on stage in the main hall of City Theater Complex. Alireza Naseh, who is playing the role of the Count in this play, has to change his appearance . He said it is as if he is playing two characters. Naseh enjoys playing dynamic and moving roles, and Count is one of these roles.
Alireza Naseh who is performing in "The King of Lear" by Elika Abdolrazzaghi, talked about his role. Referring to the role of Count in the play King Lear, Naseh said: " Count is Lear's loyal servant who is with him until the last moment of his life. A character who, despite being exiled by the king, still changes his appearance to help him and comes to his aid."
He continued: " Count is forced to change his appearance in order to accompany Lear, this facial transformation, which changes his appearance and voice, was one of the most interesting challenges for me to take part in this work. In fact, it is as if I am playing two different characters, although in one of the opening scenes of the play, the role and necessity of changing the Count's face are revealed to the audience.”
Referring to his interest in playing dynamic roles and challenging characters, the artist said: "According to many friends, I am a dynamic actor who rarely appears in static and immobile roles. Perhaps this dynamism was the reason for my appearance in the role of Count."
Naseh concluded: " Theater definitely needs new experiences. We must pay attention that new experiences may be difficult to accept and attract the attention of experts at first sight, but But it is a necessity that cannot be ignored."
