Siavash Sattari appointed as the artistic director of the 22nd Ritual and Traditional Theater Festival

Siavash Sattari was born in Tehran in 1977; he began his work in theater in Rasht in 1985. He then continued his higher education at the Faculty of Fine Arts ,Tehran University  in the field of performing arts.

During these years, he has been involved in stage acting and directing and puppetry, as well as directing, producing, managing production, and planning in television projects.

Since 1993, he has been learning this valuable art from two late and veteran masters of the art of puppetry, and has been working to develop the skills of this art for many years.

He is one of the founders of the Iranian Puppet House Museum and has focused more on research and education of this art. By setting up a mobile museum and a mobile puppet theater, he is trying to travel across the country and introduce puppet shows to the children of this land on a large scale
