Ilam theater artist, Haidar Rezaei passes away
Iran Theater-Writer, director, and theater actor Haidar Rezaei passed away this morning, July 25, 2025, after enduring a long period of illness.
Saeed Khairollahi, the head of the Ilam Province Dramatic Arts Association, sent a message of condolences to the country's theater community over this news.
He wrote: "Haidar Rezaei was one of the noble and famous figures in the theater of Ilam province; an artist who considered the stage as the home of love and played a key role in promoting the theatrical culture of this land for years with effort, honesty, and concern."
He also mentioned that Haidar Rezaei also served as the vice president of the Ilam Provincial Dramatic Arts Association for many years, and has a sweet, influential, and unforgettable presence in the province's artistic memory.
The artist's funeral will be held tomorrow morning, July 26, 2025, in his hometown, Dehloran County.
