Azade Ansari to Stage Macando in Finland

Azade Ansari is going to stage "Macando" at the Finland Puppet Festival. IRAN THEATER – directed by Azade Ansari, Macando will be stage in the Finland Puppet Festival which will take place from May 25 to 29.

Having been written by Arash Parsakhou, the play is an adaptation of a story by Gabriel García Márquez and has been given the honorary diploma of the Belarus Theater Festival.
Last year, the production also witnessed another performance at the Kargah Namayesh (theater laboratory) of the City Theater.
In addition, Azade Ansari is going to participate in the 13th Tehran Puppet Festival "Mobarak" with an adaptation of "Boof Koor" (blind Owl) by Nader Borhani Marand and "Farhad's Body" by Abas Maroufi. The Tehran Puppet Festival will take place in August 2010.
