The introduction ceremony for the new CEO of the Iranian Dramatic Arts Association was held

Iran Theater- The introduction ceremony for the CEO of the Iranian Dramatic Arts Association was held on Wednesday, July 8, with the presence of Nadereh Rezaei, Deputy Director of Arts at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and Reza Mardani, Director General of the Dramatic Arts Association, at the office of the Dramatic Arts Association.

The ceremony was attended by Ahmad Hossein Fataei, Executive Advisor to the Deputy Director of Artistic Affairs, Saeed Asadi, the new CEO of the association, Israfil Farajollahi, the former CEO, members of the founding board and board of directors of the association, and a group of officials, artists, and activists in the field of theater.

 

While appreciating the three-year efforts of Esrafil Farajollahi during her term of office, Nadereh Rezaei welcomed Saeed Asadi as the new CEO of the association and expressed hope that the new management period, with a synergistic approach, will provide new opportunities for the advancement of dramatic arts in the country.

 

She emphasized, "With the presence of Saeed Asadi, it is expected that an effective flow will be formed for the development of theater in Iran and cooperation will expand at various cultural and executive levels."

 

Rezaei considered special attention to provincial theater associations as a key policy of the new administration and stated: "The role of provincial associations in achieving cultural justice is undeniable, and it is necessary to formulate and implement executive plans at the national level based on empowering these structures."

 

Referring to the new responsibility, Saeed Asadi called this presence a “renewal of a promise to art and artists”: “We must transform theater into an efficient and sustainable cycle of cultural and economic production, distribution, and consumption. So a professional approach to theater and creating real opportunities for artists will be at the forefront of our programs.”

 

He also announced the formation of the “Theatre Art Economics Table” and considered synergy between the government, public, and private sectors a vital necessity to overcome limitations and achieve long-term goals.
