Mehrada Rayani Makhsous to Stage Man Equals Man
Written and directed by Mehrdad Rayani Makhsous, “Man Equals Man” will be staged mid-September at the Qashqai venue of the City Theater.
IRAN THEATER – Man Equals Man features four English actors. “The company is ready to perform the play with an Iranian cast as well. However, due to financial problems, it seems unlikely to happen.” The director assistant, Nima Dehqan, said.
Man Equals Man presents a woman who had transformed into an animal and gradually returns to her human status.
Directed by Sepide Nazari Pour in 2008, “Unwritten Law” was the last play of Rayani Makhsous who is currently studying a course of doctoral degree in UK. Also he staged “He Saied Yes, He said No” in 2006 at the Saye venue, which is considered to be his last directing experience.
In addition his recent play called “The Tick” on the swine influenza will be directed by Nima Dehqan in autumn at the City Theater.
