Culture minister inaugurates national theatre festival
The fourth edition of the National Theatre Festival, which will run until December 3, was officially opened Tuesday evening in Benguela Province, by the minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, under the motto “A theatre closest to you”.
The cultural event will count on the participation of twenty theatre groups coming from the majority of provinces.
The event will also be attended by the Mozambican group, “Gungu”, theatre group “Tweya”, “Twayovoka”, “Pitabel”, “Enigma”, “Miragens”, “Olonguisse”, “Olonbangue” “Angola’Children”and “Juventude do Deserto”.
Speaking during the act, the minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, said that her Ministry is organising the event in Benguela Province to celebrate the 35th anniversary of National Independence, under the cultural policy of the Angolan executive.
