Nabeul Hosts International Neapolis Children's Theater Festival

Nabeul, the capital of the Cap Bon region, is hosting from December 20 to 27, 2010, the 25th edition of International Neapolis children's theater Festival, at the Neapolis cultural centre in Nabeul city.
This edition will host thirty plays, including fifteen productions with Tunisian professional companies and the other shows will be performed by companies from 12 foreign countries.
The "Tarabates" theater and the Nejma company (France), the '"Poltava region Puppet Theater" troop (Ukraine), the "Gaspare Nasuto" company of Naples and the "Teca del Immaginario" company (Italy), "Tehran Puppet" troop (Iran) as well as "Flying Hands Puppet Theater" (Turkey), will perform in the event.
"Silver Tree" of the Irish band "White Crystal Company", a play for babies aged between3-18 months, are also on the agenda of the festival.
Created in 1985, internationally since 1994 and became a meeting of the national cultural scene, this event aims to familiarize with the small fourth art, celebrate this year its 25th candle with an exhibition "25 years of child theatre in Nabeul".
Workshops, training courses on new theatrical techniques and techniques of puppetry in addition to various exhibitions relating to the theater, are also scheduled.
Besides the city of Nabeul shows also are scheduled at the Tunis and Manouba National Center for Puppetry, as well as in Menzel Bouzelfa and Akouda.
