Moscow theatre touring Beijing
The Moscow Chekhov Art Theatre, currently on a tour of Beijing, is playing “The White Guard” after Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov, “The Cherry Orchard” after Anton Chekhov and “Live and Remember” after Valentin Rasputin.
The theatre leaders are in talks with their Chinese colleagues about exchange programs for students.
Beijing is also running an exhibition of photos dedicated to the history of the Moscow Art Theatre.
The tour will last till August 21st .
