Huambo 4th edition of theatre festival to gather five debutant groups
The theatre groups “Kandimbas”, from Huíla province, “Nova Lua” (Kwanza Sul), “Olombangui” (Bié), “Protevida” and “Enigma”, both from Luanda, will make their first appearance at the inter-provincial festival of theatre scheduled for 9-11 September this year in the capital of central Huambo province.
The annual festival is promoted by the "Artes Vozes de África" group, aimed at marking the anniversary of Huambo city, to be celebrated on September 21.
According to the coordinator of the event, Pascoal Pedro Nhanga, who confirmed Tuesday the fact, the 4th edition will bring together 11 groups, less one in comparison to the last year.
Apart from the debutants, the event will also count on the presence of groups such as "Artes Pitabel" (Luanda), "Ombaka" and Vakolela (Benguela) "Revelação" and "Tchissola" (Huambo), as well as the host "Vozes de África", confirmed Pascoal Pedro Nhanga
