Message from Hamid Shah Abadi to National Resistance Theater Festival

IRAN THEATER – According to the Media and Communications office of the National Resistance, Revolution and Holey Defense Theater Festival, sending a massage to the festival, the deputy minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Arts, Hamid Shahabadi, emphasized:
"You, as the artists of the first decade of the third millennium, should be able to pass the symbols of the physical war era and create according to the cruel strategies of the art and the dominant culture.
Comprehending the art of the resistance means understanding the relationship of human and the resistance's realty. If you talk about the art and the literature of resistance, everybody associate it with the illustration of the life of the war's martyrs and heroes, whereas the foundation and the base of the immanent art works is the resistance against the natural tendency of the mind to forget!
These kinds of theater productions protect the mind against depression and boredom. Getting born after the Islamic Revolution, the resistance theater is inspired by Holy Defense but when there is no more fire and blood of the war and it has changed itself into tranquility and peace, the theater should obviously talk about the new tactics and strategies of resistance and now it is supposed to warn the youth about the risks and dangers of the digital world where you feel unequipped towards incoming information. As a result the first step would be making friend with youth to help them harmonize themselves with the new artistic subjects and also communicate with them in order to let them get more informed about new technologies of communication. In this way you protect them from wrong information.
You know that how it is difficult to resist in the culture's camp. First you yourself have to believe the play to make the audience believe it. Therefore you should harry up, because you have to challenge with obstacles and impediments of such a difficult way to reach the goal which is out of approach.
