IRAN to Establish UNIMA Offices in Neighboring Countries

According to the public relations of UNIMA, the meeting took place at the lobby of the Parsa Hotel and the director of the Iran's UNIMA Hamid Reza Ardalan reported the activities of the two past years on development of marionette in the provinces.
There was also a project proposed by Ardalan to initiate a strategic committee and launch the UNIMA's representative offices in the neighboring countries by Iran.
The proposal will be reviewed by the board of directors of UNIMA to be negotiated in its international congress, declared Jacques Trudeau.
In addition, the board of directors and the authorities of MOBARAK UNIMA discussed their current projects with Jacques Trudeau.
Establishing representative offices in the neighboring countries, collaboration of the Iran's UNIMA titled Strategic Committee, the supporting strategies of the UNIMA, providing the MOBARAK UNIMA's members so that they can participate in international workshops, holding one of the future UNIMA's congresses in Iran, exchanging puppetries masters, sending the Iranian puppetry companies to international festivals, UNIMA's collaboration with the International Tehran Mobarak Theater Festival and the pathology of the UNIMA's directorship in the field of puppetry were some of the subjects of the meeting's discussions.
Hamid Reza Ardalan, Farnaz Behzadi, Pupak Azim Pur, Afsan Zamani, Peyman Shariati, Salma Mohseni, Marzie Sar Mashqi, Majid Bur Bur, Arsh Mosafai and Jacques Trudeau took part in the meeting which was held from 9:30 to 11:30.
Afterwards Iran's UNIMA presented a collection of the Iran's traditional puppets Pahlevan Kachal, to Jacques Trudeau.
Provided by MOBARAK UNIMA, Jacques Trudeau had traveled another time to Iran to judge The 12th International Students Puppetry Theater Festival.
