9 Plays to Participate in Fadjr Fest “Special Outlook”

Nine out of 65 plays have finally been chosen to participate in the “Special Vision” section of the 30th Fadjr International Theater Festival.

The Iran Theater website quoted the festival’s information dissemination base as saying that the Evaluation Committee including Saeed Asadi, Hossein Pakdel, Hossein Razi, Shahram Karami and Afshin Khorshid Bakhtari announced the final participants.

   1Horizon In Yellow Birds Singing”, written by Ali Soltani, directed by Nader Fallah-Mobrami from Kerman
   “2Welcome to Bro’s Death Memorial”, written by Salma Rafeei, directed by Samaneh Zandinejad from Tehran
   “3The Third Saturday’s of the Week”, written by Hassan Barzegar, directed by Hassan Barzegar and Roxana Bahram from Tehran
   “4Medea”, written by Euripides, directed by Mehdi Agahi from Tehran
Conditioned Participants:
   “1Medea”, written by Euripides, directed by Alireza Shaykhan from Tehran
   “2Ancestral House”, written and directed by Noushin Tabrizi from Tehran
   “3Rabbit Hole”, written by David Lindsay-Abaire, translated by Marjan Mousavi Kousha, directed Toumaj Danesh Behzadi from Tehran
   “4Morde Rig”, written by Tahmineh Mohammadi, directed by Ghazal Eskandarnejad from Tehran
   “5Sunlit”, [????] translated by Pejman Rezaei, directed by Ashkan Khalilnejad from Tehran
Meanwhile, the committee introduced three more plays for the festival should the secretariat increase the number of qualified participants.

“2The Light Yellow Butterfly”, written by Hamid-Reza Naeemi, directed by Milad Nikabadi
“3Dracula”, written by Jalal Tehrani, directed by Setareh Pesiani
 
The 30th Fadjr International Festival will be held on Jan 25 to Feb 11.
