Final Participants in New Experience Section of Fadjr Fest

Final Participants in New Experience Section of Fadjr Fest

Nine out of 26 plays, which were volunteered to take part in the New Experience section of the 30th Fadjr International Theater Festival, are chosen as final participants.

The section’s Evaluation Committee, which is comprised of Saeed Asadi, Mahmoud-Reza Rahimi, Kiumars Moradi, Afshin Khorshid-Bakhtari and Mohammad-Reza Alvand, reviewed the performances from Tehran and other cities.
Iran Theater website quoted festival’s Information Dissemination Base as saying that the board finally announced the following plays;
Final Participants:
“1Ey Ghasede Soltane Ghariban”, written and directed by Mohsen Ranjbar from Tehran
“2Shital Beraghs bar Marge Man (Shital Dance on My Death)”, written and directed by Mehran Mahmoudzadeh Dehbarezi from Hormozgan
Participation of seven plays is conditioned to certain quality changes and final amendment. The board would surely talk to directors and review the works after changes again. It is obvious the final list would be announced following the final review.
Conditioned Works:
“1Amadim Naboudid Raftim (We Came, You Were not There, We Left”, written by Mohammad Charmshir, directed by Reza Haddad from Tehran
“2Pavaraghi (Footnote)”, written by Foad Mokhberi, directed by Ahmad Kachechian from Tehran
“3Sounami Navardane Khette (Territory’s Tsunami Goers), written by Amir Alami and Arash Mirtalebi, directed by Arash Mirtalebi from Tehran
“4Aroos Rooye Khordeshisheha (Bride on Glass Shards)”, written and directed by Mohammad-Reza Gholipour from Tehran
“5Kabous-haye Odip (Oedipus’s Nightmares)”, written by Roozbeh Naseri, directed by Roozbeh Naseri and Pooyan Payvasteh from Tehran
“6Groteski bar Tabarshenasi Dorough va Tanhaee (A Grotesque on Etymology of  Lie & Loneliness)”, written and directed by Sajjad Afsharian from Tehran
“7Voytsek”, written and directed by Reza Servati from Tehran
It should be mentioned the board has suggested two plays as guest of the New Experience section because they have high quality but lack qualifications needed for the section.
“1In Hameh Sangar va In Aadamha k Ta Akhar Zebdeand (So Many Trenches and So Many Men Who Are Living to the End)”, written and directed by Roozbeh Hosseini from Tehran
“2Mar Khorde Afee Shode”, an adaptation by Yevgeni Grishkovets, directed by Golbarg Abootorabian from Tehran
The 30th Fadjr International Festival will be held on Jan 25 to Feb 11.
Rahmat Amini is secretary of the festival.
