Asghar Khalili Awarded in Indian Festival

An essay written by Asghar Khalili received top award in the researches and essays section of the International Theater Festival of India, Balhayani Foundation C/O International School, New Delhi.
Khalili, a playwright and stage director told Iran Theater website that his article was named the best by the Indian festival on Saturday, December 24.
He added that his essay “Influence of Theater Education on Public Education” reviewed such impacts on the brain cortex by adopting a pedagogical approach .
Khalili said that the article was his university study and he was planning to present it to Iran’s Education Ministry.
The playwright added that the second place was grabbed by an essay from Norway. “Because the education was a topic of the festival, many participants were researchers and those who are involved in pupil education.
Japan, Slovenia, Italy, Norway, Pakistan India, Turkey, the Netherlands and Belgium were participants of this section of the festival, he added.
“Parvaz (The Flight)”, a play written and directed by Khalili, garnered a huge audience in the festival, too.
