Nasrabadian to Teach Mime in Canada

Hamed Nasrabadian is set to teach mime in an educational workshop in Vancouver, Canada.
Following Nasabadian’s successful mime workshop in the Pera Fine Arts High School on April 4 in Istanbul, he was invited to teach mime in an educational workshop in a newly-established branch of the Pera High School in Vancouver, Canada.
Nasrabadian told Iran Theater website his cooperation with Pera Fine Arts High School began in 2006 when he taught courses there.
Nasrabadian added that as an advisor to the director of “Sheikh San’an”, Farzin Rayhanirad, which was performed in Turkey, he invited officials and professors of the educational center to see the play. After the meeting, head of the Pera Fine Arts High School Iltan Uzuner and Nilufar Moayeri, head of the Pera Fine Arts High School Drawing Department, invited him to hold mime and ritual movement workshop there.
The daylong workshop on mime/circus and mime/folklore was attended by students of music and painting of the Pera High School, Nasrabadian said.
He added a section of musical movements were taught by Jila Al-e Rashad, which used to be one of my students. Sections of folklore mime were on Iran.
The part of the workshop on educational movement for rituals and performances was accompanied with two Persian music pieces, which received enthusiasm from the management and students, Nasrabadian said.
He said Istanbul Pera Fine Arts High School had launched a new branch in Vancouver, Canada recently and his next workshop would probably be held in the academy’s branch there.
